Stapelbädden STPLN new creative centre in Western Harbour

At the end of March, some 2,000 square metres of Kockums’ former staff canteen area was opened for creative experimentation and cross-discipline projects in culture and innovation.

Here we find Fabriken (The Factory), which is based on the Fab Lab concept with the vision that in principle absolutely anyone should be able to create absolutely anything. In Cykelköket (The Cycle Kitchen) you can fix your bike with help from volunteers.
The idea behind STPLN is that anyone with an idea they want to develop together with others should be able to use the premises and receive help and support on site. We expect to see many exciting activities in the future.
