ISSVA 2012 (The 19th International Workshop on Vascular Anomalies)
The International Society for the Study of Vascular Variations was founded in 1992 under the International Workshop on Vascular Variations Held in 1990 in Amsterdam. The company represented formaliziation prior to a biennial international workshops, which started in 1976 by Dr. John Mulliken and Anthony Young. This basic concept of workshops were being maintained, promoting time trial staff contacts and informal exchanges of scientific knowledge of vascular anomalies, it has been a part of this organization.
The term includes anomalies hemangiomas and vascular malformations. Purpose of the association are to promote, at national and internationally, clinical and scientific research in all fields, which will lead to advances in knowledge regarding all aspects of vascular anomalies. The Company encourages the transmission of data through a free flow of information among members and interested groups, through workshop sessions, educational programs and publication of relevant scientific data.
