City environment for children and adolescents

Children and adolescents have the right to safe, secure and stimulating environments. The public space should work for all citizens. At this conference we discuss how these rights can be integrated into urban development. The conference is aimed at architects and planners, managers and property owners, entrepreneurs and business leaders, school leaders and other professionals with responsibility or interest in developing outdoor environments for children and adolescents.
 
Research shows that people benefit from being outdoors in natural and cultural landscapes. But children and adolescents do not live naturally in such miljøer.Deres daily lives are more naturally in a residential area, the city's parks, streets and playgrounds, schools and kindergartens farms.
 
There are many opportunities to design, equip and develop sites that attract children and adolescents.Be aware of how the city and disrupt Hank has to offer, both wild and disciplined environments. Learn more about how an increased wear of soil and vegetation can be managed. Increase your understanding of how children and young people using the town's outdoor environment in unexpected ways, and why.
