Skånes Dansteater
Skånes Dansteater is the largest detached dance institution in Sweden. As a repertory contemporary dance company we present works by Nordic choreographers and by the most interesting emerging international choreographers.
Skånes Dansteater perform at their own stage, at Malmö Opera and on tours in Skåne, Sweden and internationally. Since 2005 Skånes Dansteater are situated in Västra Hamnen, Malmö.

Looks like a very vibrant group. I loved the tagline - Set Thoughts in Motion. The formations, stretches suit contemporary. I hear that in contemporary dance, one can sometimes portray whole stories. Also that tthe hallmark of contemporary dance is an awareness of the limitations of form. Wish this group good luck with their performances. Now that Valentine's Day is coming, they may have some special performances in store. Dedicating a quote on art to all the artists - to become truly immortal, a work of art must escape all human limits: logic and common sense will only interfere. But once these barriers are broken, it will enter the realms of childhood visions and dreams.
